FIFA suspends Sepp Blatter for 90 days

FIFA suspends Sepp Blatter for 90 days

FIFA ethics committee has suspended its president Sepp Blatter for 90 days. Head of the committee,  Klaus Stoehlker, who has advised Blatter in the past, says the committee made the ruling pending further investigations by the Swiss attorney general following accusations of corruption.

He described it as a "pending" verdict, and said no negative finding had been made against the head of world football's governing body.

The announcement comes just hours after Blatter criticized the criminal investigation against him in Switzerland, describing it as "outrageous". He also defended his decision to remain as head of the football organising body and not step down immediately, as worldwide sponsors have urged.

The 90-day suspension is the longest FIFA's ethics committee can hand down while they carry out their investigation.

Last month, the Swiss attorney general announced that Blatter will face charges of "criminal mismanagement" and "misappropriation." Among the charges is an allegation that Blatter gave a "disloyal payment" to UEFA president Michel Platini totaling 2 million francs ($2.1 million). That payment is alleged to have been made three months before Platini announced he would not run against Blather in the 2011 FIFA presidential election.

Woman rides motorbike wearing nothing but a skimpy thong (pics)

Woman rides motorbike wearing nothing but a skimpy thong (pics)

A naked female biker got motorists all revved up when she was taken for a spin in south-western Russia's Rostov Oblast region at night, wearing just a tiny thong, high heels and a helmet.

The video which was shared on Youtube, showed the girl whipping off her white bra and handing it over to a friend as the motorbike took off.

Then the pair weave through the autumnal evening traffic, causing mixed reactions from other motorists.

Some saw the funny side and gave a thumbs up but others shouted at the girl as she gave them a one-fingered remark back.

The naked bike riding craze seems to be taking off in Russia as several other women have been videoed doing the same thing , also in Russian cities.

Bryan Okwara, Martini ambassador & Toolz visit Casa Martini in Italy

Bryan Okwara, Martini ambassador & Toolz visit Casa Martini in Italy

Bryan Okwara, Martini Nigeria Brand Ambassador was accompanied by popular Beat FM OAPToluOniru aka Toolz on this #fascinating journey to the home of Martini since October 3rd and would be returning at the end of the week. Bryan and Toolz were guests at Casa Martini, in the picturesque village of Pessione where Martini has been produced since 1863.

The cellars of Casa Martini, an early 19th century country mansion, house the treasures of its famous History of Winemaking Museum (one of the most interesting in the world in terms of the wealth of its collection). The museum opened in 1961 and consists of 16 rooms with more than 600 artifacts on display dating from the 7th century BC to the present day.

They both had a rare privilege to see the Museum which boasts of a new sensory display area, the Martini Experience Room. This room provides a fascinating sensorial experience of the living matter that actually goes into the company’s best known products, namely the Martini range.

They would be among the many important visitors who would run their hands through samples of the herbs, spices, flowers, fruits and roots which form part of the closely-guarded secret of the Martini recipe. At the end of the visit they would be given an opportunity to make their own brand of Vermouth.

Martini is justifiably considered to be one of the biggest ambassadors of Italian-made products as well as one of the most recognizable trademarks worldwide.
