In response to an opinion piece written by Cool FM on-air personality, Freeze where he advised people to stop hanging out with poor people, a blogger who goes by the name Akpene Jacob has reacted to the story, saying Freeze is merely displaying his stupidity online.

‘I read Freeze of Cool Fm Lagos latest piece which he said When Someone Hangs Out With The Poor, He Will Turn Out Poor with anger because I don’t know what he feels like before writing this, maybe he was high or something.
How can a man in his right senses wake up and just decide to come on social media and post this kind of rubbish, all I see on your social media pages is flaunting of your wealth as if you are the richest man in Nigeria.
You claim to be rich yet you are still working under someone, why don’t you have your own radio station? You said the poor should start hanging out with the rich to become rich right? If Alhaji Aliko Dangote was hanging out with the rich people without working hard, will he be rich today?
How do you expect someone who can’t afford a two square meal a day to leave his hustle and go to the Island to hang out with the rich people there? These are questions I expect you to answer.
It’s people like you that always insults the poor anytime they come’s closer to you, you are just displaying your stupidity online. People that are rich don’t even flaunt it.
Media mogul Ben Bruce who admire a lot is rich yet he doesn’t flaunt it as you do, riches is not all about showing off and insulting the poor but it’s all about changing the present community you find yourself in.
So Mr Freeze, take a chill and calm down. Just my two cents.
