Nelson Mandela’s grand son, Mandla Mandela takes new wife.
42-year-old Mandla Mandela, exchanged marital vows with his lover, Rabia Clarke in a Cape Town mosque on February 6, 2016, after converting to Islam.
The marriage, which had few people in attendance, is the fourth for Mandela.
Mandla married his first wife, Tando Mabunu-Mandela in 2004. They are reportedly still entangled in a bitter divorce. He got married to Anais Grimaud, in a traditional ceremony in 2010. Their marriage was annulled after reports that she had an affair with his younger brother.
He then married Mbali Makhathini in 2014, but the marriage was annulled by a court after his first wife opened charges of bigamy.
Born in 1974, Mandla is the chief of the Mvezo Traditional Council. His father, Makgatho Mandela, died in 2005, which paved his way to be the head of the tribe.
Mandla graduated from Rhodes University with a degree in Politics in 2007.
