America's president Barack Obama will tackle nature's challenges when
he appears in a special episode with survivalist Bear Grylls in
Discovery Channel's Running Wild with Bear Grylls.
Running Wild with Bear Grylls
started in May on the Discovery Channel on MultiChoice's DStv satellite
pay-TV platform and sees the survivalist take celebrities with him as
they endure harsh wilderness in remote locations in high-octane,
action-based and empowering journeys.
Now the outgoing president Barack Obama will trek through the Alaskan wilderness with Bear Grylls.
The episode of Running Wild with Bear Grylls will be recorded soon and broadcast later this year to help highlight the effects of climate change in Alaska.
"President
Obama will meet with Bear Grylls while visiting Alaska to observe the
effects of climate change on the area. The two will then come together
in the Alaskan wilderness. President Obama will become the first US
president to receive a crash course in survival techniques from Bear
Grylls."
One thing we do know is that President Obama will not be drinking his own urine.
