OPC leader calls for Jega’s sack


The leader of the Odua Peoples Congress (OPC), Gani Adams, has called for the sacking of the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Attahiru Jega, reports Premium Times.
Adams is one of those supporting the re-election bid of President Goodluck Jonathan in the South West.
In calling for Jega’s sack, Adams accused the INEC chairman of favouring some states in the distribution of Permanent Voters Card (PVC).
He also wants Jega sack because of his resolve to use card readers for the general elections.
Adams urged President Jonathan to begin the search for a replacement for Jega.
