King Mohammed VI of Morocco has refused to accept a phone conversation with President Goodluck Jonathan, reports Premium Times.
The Moroccan monarch rejected the conversation, saying it was politically motivated.
The monarch also rejected the sending of a Nigerian envoy to his country.
He noted that President Jonathan’s gestures are more akin to gain votes than a normal diplomatic act.
The King accused President Jonathan of trying to take advantage of Morocco’s influence to secure Muslim votes in the forthcoming election.
