Pregnant 12 year old girl may become one of Britian's youngest mother

Pregnant 12 year old girl may become one of Britian's youngest mother

Current youngest mum in the UK
A teenager is facing life in prison after he got a 12-year-old girl pregnant in Belfast.
The schoolgirl allegedly got pregnant after having sex with a 19-year-old man.
If she carries to full-term, the young girl - whose family are said to be in shock - could become one of Britain's youngest mothers.

Police confirmed that the 19-year-old was arrested last Thursday after the pregnancy was reported to police and has been released on bail, pending further inquiries.
If it is found that he had sex with the girl, he faces being charged with rape, which can carry a life sentence if he gets convicted.

According to UK law, anyone aged under 13 is not legally considered to be able to give consent to sex, so those who engage in sexual activity with them face a charge of statutory rape.

A Police spokesman said:
'Police arrested a 19 year old man in the West Belfast area on Thursday 1st October in relation to a sexual offence. The man has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.'

The girl who is believed to be UK's youngest mother gave birth last April after getting pregnant by her 13-year-old boyfriend while she was still in primary school.

The 11 year old girl and the baby’s father were said to be ‘totally in love’ and had been going out for a year when she got pregnant.

She then gave birth at 12 years and three months, making her five months younger than Britain's previous youngest mother.

The youngest father on record is Sean Stewart, of Bedford, who became a father aged 12 in 1998.

At the exhibition of books written by Nigeria’s Poet, and public commentator, Odia Ofeimun, tagged, Special 40-Plus Book Exhibition that took place yesterday at the Agip Recital Hall of The Muson Centre, Lagos, former governor of Ogun State, Chief Segun Osoba, said that past public office holders since the transfer of power to civilian government in 1999 should all be probed.
He said:
“Those who have held public offices in the civilian era should all come back and account for their stewardship, if you really want everybody to be accountable, I’m suggesting that the president should make all of us come back and account for whatever we did when we were in offices since 1999, since the return of civilian government. There should be thorough examinations of our actions, 2003 was not under Jonathan, so the probe must begin from 1999 because once you pull the root, the root will pull all the grass around.

Glass walkway 3,500 feet above ground cracks under tourists' feet

Tourists were horrified as a section of a new glass-bottomed walkway at Yuntai Mountain Geological Park in Henan Province, China, cracked under their feet on Monday.

The walkway, which just opened as a tourist attraction last month, is suspended at a height of about 3,500 feet. The glass cracked after a tourist dropped a stainless steel mug on the walkway, according to the Yuntai Mountain tourism bureau.
There are three layers of glass and only one broke, so the bureau says the tourists were in no danger - but the walkway is closed for repairs.

Switzerland gets Britain’s request to probe Diezani’s ally Kola Aluko, he also faces extradition to UK

Switzerland gets Britain’s request to probe Diezani’s ally Kola Aluko, he also faces extradition to UK

According to Punch there were strong indications on Wednesday that Switzerland might extradite Nigerian oil baron, Kola Aluko, to the United Kingdom.
The Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland, in an email to one of its correspondents, confirmed that the UK had sought for mutual legal assistance from its country.

In an e-mail sent to it, the office of the AGF of Switzerland was asked if it had received extradition request from the UK on the businessman.
It was also asked to specify the time the extradition process would begin and when he would be extradited.
In his response, Nathalie Guth of the Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland, said:
“I refer to your request of today and we can confirm that the Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland (OAG) has received a request for mutual legal assistance from England in this context.”
He declined to give further information on the request.
“The mutual legal assistance” could lead to eventual extradition of Aluko to the UK in connection with the investigation of former petroleum minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke.
When Punch contacted the spokesperson for the UK High Commission in Abuja on Wednesday,Joe Abuku, he said:
“I can’t give any information on the extradition issue because the official that would brief me is out of town and cannot be reached on the phone, but I will try and get him tomorrow (today),” he said.
A top security official in the United Kingdom told The PUNCH that:
“There are srong links between the former oil minister and Aluko. Extradition is not out of question.”
Aluko is an associate of former Petroleum Minister, Alison-Madueke, who was arrested in the UK last week for alleged bribery and money laundering.

How Kim Kardashian lost her virginity at 14 to Michael Jackson's nephew Tito Jackson

How Kim Kardashian lost her virginity at 14 to Michael Jackson's nephew Tito Jackson

Kim Kardashian admits losing her virginity at age 14 after her Mum Kris Jenner's adviced her to go on the pill.
Back in 2012, Kim told Oprah she was 'almost 15' when her mother agreed to put her on birth control.
She explained that the decision came as a result of her desire to lose her virginity to her boyfriend of two years.
Kim said:
'When I did want to have sex for the first time I was almost 15', adding her liberal mom was open to discussion about the topic.
'I was like, "I think I’m going to, or I want to," and she was like, "OK, so this is what we’re gonna do, we’re gonna put you on birth control," and she was like, really open and honest with me.'
Kim has previously talked of spending her 14th birthday at Jackson's Neverland ranch.
'When you drove up, there were baby elephants and chimpanzees in overalls, and there was all the rides. It was everything you can possibly imagine,' she previously told People magazine.
However, she never revealed who she lost her virginity to or admitted she dated Tito in those interviews.

And now a new book titled Kim, by biographer Sean Smith has revealed who Kim lost her virginity to as Tito Joe Jackson, the son of Michael's older brother Tito.
Speaking about Kim last year, TJ, who is married with three children, told Britain's Reveal magazine:
'I still talk to the family every now and then, though not too much because our schedules are pretty busy.
'I dated Kim when my mother passed away, so I was actually quite close to the family when I was young.'
