As we earlier stated in our previous report on the StarBoy Records honcho, Wizkid dominance across Africa, the BabaNla was announced winner for the "Artist Of The Year" category at the third edition of All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) on Sunday night, in Lagos Nigeria.
The award was held at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos, same night with the MTV EMAs in Netherlands. Being awarded the "Artist of the year" makes it his (Wizkid) third of the night (as he won two: "Best African Act" and "Best Wordlwide Act" at the MTV EMAs).

Other Nigerians that went home with at least one accolade for the night includes Falz (the bahd guy), Flavour N'Abania, Phyno Fino, King Sunny Ade, Patoranking and Aramide.
Notable winners for the night is the Tanzanian talented singer, Diamond Platnumz who came on top with double for the night: "Best Male East Africa" and "Song of the year", alongside Ghanaian music duo, VVIP who also collected double for the night. Winning "Best African Group" and "Video Of The Year" awards.
