PHOTOS: Massive Turn Out As Nigerian Artists Shutdown Enugu For Phynofest

It was a weekend worthy of remembering as lots of Nigerian A-List artist shutdown Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu to honour their industry homie, Phyno for his hometown concert dubbed "Phynofest".

It was a day for every artist across the nation as industry A-list acts such as P-Square, Olamide, Patoranking, Onyeka Onwenu, Burna Boy, Lil Kesh, Skuki, DJ Neptunes, among others, were in attendance to entertain the fans in attendance.

Just as fellow African Rappers in Cassper Nyovest, Olamide and Co have done in their separate home town and will still do in future, calling out massive crowd to the concert arena, Phyno showed the world that he have a base and large number of supporters under him as over 25,000 fans filled the stadium to capacity for the concert. This is the first time in in modern Nigerian record, a single musician attracts over 20,000 audience for a show.

Due to this massive number in a 22,000 capacity stadium, some of the fans that paid N200 (regular) and N500 (VIP) could only scale over the fence to gain access into the venue, while others were stranded outside as the show went on from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.

This massive number also affected the security level for the show, resulting in several ill situation between the fans, bouncers and artists alike. But in all, no serious injury and everything went on fine with lots of good things to overshadow the bad part of the show.

Entertain your eyes with some of the snapshots off the concert...
