Reports reaching us have it that the StarBoy Records general, Wizkid turned down an offer of £50,000 performance fee outside of his home country Nigeria.
According to the source, Wizkid was offered the sum of 50,000 pounds (which is approximately 25 million in Naira) through his international booking agent Tinie Tempah’s "Disturbing London" but he turned it down, demanding double of it.
Another source have it that the Baba Nla have been charging equivalent of £100,000 for a show outside the country for sometime now.
This is truly not as much as he charge for a performance within the country as source suggested.
Wizkid is really having a good year, received massive boost to his music career with his 2016 international collaborations with super figures in Drake, Chris Brown, Trey Songs, French Montana, Tinie Tempah, among many others.
His inclusion to Chris Brown Tour the Europe and Billboard Hot 100 number one (#1) rank with Drake single "One Dance", indeed made him a name not to have on stage for a cheap price.
