A young man identified as Kelechi was reportedly beaten up by an angry mob after he was caught allegedly breaking into an electronics shop in Owerri to steal laptops.
He had been spotted inside the shop by people who reportedly raised alarm. An angry mob gathered, stripped him naked and pounced on him. He was beaten up before he was reportedly handed over to security operatives.
