Liverpool boost, PL winner wants summer transfer, talks held with club chief - originally posted on Soccerlens.com
Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli has no plans of returning to Anfield this summer.
The news will come as a boost to the Merseyside club who are supposedly keen on getting rid of the player this summer. The fact that Balotelli himself wants a move away makes it easier for them to find a suitor. Liverpool can then invest the money on s suitable player for Klopp.
The on-loan Italian forward recently confirmed that he did not feel good at Anfield and is looking to stay at Milan beyond this summer.
However, it seems that Balotelli might be negotiating a transfer to Ligue 1 right now. Infosport+ have revealed through their twitter account that Mario Balotelli met with Monaco regarding a summer transfer.
The Italian international apparently met with Monaco president Dmitry Rybolovlev over the weekend.
Balotelli failed to make his mark at Anfield after a 15 million pound move back in 2014. The Italian still has 2 years left on his Liverpool contract and the Reds will be looking to recoup most of the money they spent on him.
The former Manchester City striker failed to convince the then Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers and spent most of his time at Liverpool on the sidelines.
It is understood that Jurgen Klopp is not keen on bringing him back either and therefore the player is ready to end his Liverpool nightmare permanently now.
Balotelli has previously won the Premier League with Manchester City under Roberto Mancini and was expected to help Liverpool fight for the title.
