In a series of tweets, speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has discredited reports that the National Assembly has removed the Lagos-Calabar rail project from the 2016 budget. There were media reports this weekend that a source within the presidency said that the lawmakers removed the rail project.
This has generated a lot of argument with many people accusing the National Assembly members of working against the progress of the budget.
