Interim Super Eagles head coach Samson Siasia has picked six home based
players to join his foreign contingent of players who will play the all
important AFCON qualifier against the Pharaoh's of Egypt on the 25th of
March.
The six players picked include Kalu Orji, Chibuzor Okonkwo, Ikechukwu
Ezenwa, Matthew Etim, Ifeanyi Matthew and Oghenekaro Etebo.
Meanwhile Siasia will have to make do without the services of two important players namely Leon Balogun and Kenneth Omeruo due to injury sustained why playing for their club sides.
The Pharaohs of Egypt top Group G with six points from two games, two points ahead of the Super Eagles , with only the group's winner guaranteed automatic qualification to the AFCON finals.
