The University of Lagos Accounting graduate is the son of veteran Nollywood actress, Toyin Adewale popularly known as Mama Tee.

His dad, Sunday Adewale is also a song writer and film director.
In an exclusive interview with THENETNG, Mayokun disclosed that he has always been around the entertainment world as a child.

‘I started singing at the age of 9 and I have put in a lot of hard work over the years to get to this stage where I got Davido’s attention,’ Mayokun further revealed.
