Ooni of Ife declares Mr Solek ‘Olorin Oba’ in January.
London-based Juju musician, Adesoji Adebayo, popularly known as Mr Solek and his team, last week visited Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, to present him a new CD he waxed for him and customized T-Shirts, which are designed with the Monarch’s photos.
The CD, which is dubbed ‘Olorin Oba’, a title given to the singer when the Oba declared him one of his official musicians in January, is a recording of a live performance held at the Ooni Palace recently.

The 41-year-old Oba was very happy to receive the gifts from Mr Solek and he prayed for him in return.
Mr Solek, who has been in Nigeria since last month, returned to London few days ago, to kick off his Valentine shows.
