Cristiano Ronaldo was on fire last night as Real Madrid suppressed Espanyol with a 6-0 bashing.
Real Madrid scored three goals in the first 16 minutes which immediately shaped the direction of the game with two more goals scored before the end of the first half.
Ronaldo scored a hat-trick while Karim Benzema and James Rodriguez also registered their names in the scorers chat.
While the visitors failed to score a goal, they suffered a more devastating blow when Oscar Duarte scored an own goal 4 minutes to the end of the game.
Real Madrid are now 4 points behind league leaders, Barcelona.
