South African media personality, Minnie is set to host the upcoming 4^th edition of the African Magic Viewers Choice Awards alongside IK Osakioduwa.

Here are 7 things you should know about the beautiful South African.

1. She was born Minenhle Dlamini on July 7, 1990 in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
2. She studied film and media, drama and economics at University of Cape Town.
3. In 2010, while she was in the university, she won the Live Presenter search which brought her instant fame across the country.
4. She once dated South African goalkeeper, Itumeleng Khune. The relationship lasted for four years. (2010-2014).
5. She is also an actress and has appeared in television sitcoms like ‘Generations’, ‘Rockview’ and ‘The Wild’.
6. As an event host, Minnie has anchored numerous events including the 2012 edition of Miss South Africa beauty pageant.
7. Last year, she was hit by a virginity scandal after she partook in a ritual which was set aside for virgins of Zulu origin. The beautiful media personality was called out by critics for participating in the wrong procedure.
