A Ferrari car built in 1957, has sold for €32m {N7.1b} at auction in Paris, surpassing the previous record of Ferrari 250 GTO, which sold for €28.5m {N6.3b} in 2014, according to BBC.
The red 335 Sport Scaglietti, which is one of only four models to come out of the franchise, set a lap record at the Le Mans 24 hours race and also won the 1958 Cuban Grand Prix.
However, the new owner’s identity wasn’t revealed, BUT was described as an ‘international buyer’.
