Job Location: Lagos

Job Role:

  • Gather market information for SW (Software) products, customers pains, other market players (competition and potential partners)
  • Enjoy sales as a profession for it provides personal gratification and ego enhancement. Determined to win and willing to take risks.
  • Possess an appropriate sense of urgency. Anticipate consequences and evaluate alternatives before acting. Can accept valid suggestions for performance improvement.
  • Self-initiative and the ability to focus on opportunities and solutions
  • Focus on what can be done as opposed to what cannot be accomplished
  • Identify new SW services opportunities; provide technical support for IBM platforms and SW related services. Non IBM SW products support and services etc
  • Manage and support the other TSS sellers for SW services opportunities
  • Execute alliances and partnerships with other SW vendors and IBM BP’s
  • Employee must be Goal orientated and have the ability to articulate the goals clearly and assign timelines.

Job Requirement:

  • Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Preferred Education: Master’s Degree

Skills:

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Possess leadership qualities and is not afraid to exert pressure to influence others
  • Consultative selling skills
  • Good listening skills

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • At least 5 years’ experience selling SW Products
  • Knowledge of IBM SW products
  • Knowledge of Non IBM SW products ( such as Linux, SAP, Oracle, Vmware etc )

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

  • Knowledge of Non IBM SW products ( such as Linux, SAP, Oracle, Vmware etc )
  • At least 7 years’ experience selling SW Products
  • Knowledge of IBM SW products
