The sports world went agog yesterday after the Independent UK claimed former Chelsea handler, Jose Mourinho wrote a letter to Manchester United administrators stating changes he will make if given the job as their new coach.
The controversial Portuguese has now come out to refute the claim following an outpour of reactions.
Reacting to the story, Mourinho’s agent, Jorge Mendes the report is ‘absolutely ridiculous and totally absurd’ stating that it is belittling of Mourinho.
‘It does not occur to anyone that a coach like Jose Mourinho can write letters to clubs offering their services. It is absolutely ridiculous and totally absurd’, he said.
