It’s been reported that Celine Dion won’t be performing at husband René Angélil’s funeral, days after speculations that she will perform to honour the love of her life.
A source told Pagesix: ‘She’s grieving, she wouldn’t even be able to sing. It wasn’t in René’s wishes.
‘It’s not happening and it was never in the cards ever, ever, ever.’
René lost his life on January 14, following a battle with throat cancer, and his family and friends will gather to pay their tributes at the Notre-Dame Basilica in Montreal.
The venue is the same place Celine married René 21 years ago.
