The last time this happened was when David Moyes was in charge. United fans are understandably frustrated with Van Gaal’s monotonous philosophy and ineffective tactics.
Although the Old Trafford outfit have been impressive defensively, they have looked bereft of ideas going forward and their goalscoring problems seem to be getting worse by the day.
Furthermore, according to Sun (via Daily Mirror), a number of senior players have already stood up to the Dutchman.
According to the report the players are frustrated with Louis Van Gaal’s approach and have questioned his methods.
It will be interesting to see if the Manchester United manager can turn this around, but when your own players and fans turn against you the task can only get harder.
