Chelsea could sack Mourinho before Saturday, ex-Spurs boss is shock replacement - originally posted on Soccerlens.com
Chelsea are lining up a shock move for the former Tottenham boss Juande Ramos if Jose Mourinho is sacked before the end of the season.
Chelsea board are thought to be in discussions with Roman Abramovich regarding the future of the Portuguese manager and have earmarked the Spaniard as a possible replacement.
According to The Times, Abramovich is reluctant to sack Mourinho but the Russian is concerned about results and wants an immediate improvement.
Chelsea have been linked with the likes of Ancelotti and Simeone earlier this season and it is quite surprising to see them linked with the former Real Madrid and Tottenham boss.
Juande Ramos wasn’t particularly impressive during his first spell in the Premier League and it will be interesting to see how he does this time around, should the move materialise.
The report from Times also states that Mourinho took training earlier today and is expecting to lead the side out against Sunderland, but anything is possible between now and then.
