Plateau State Governor, Air Commodore
Jonah Jang (rtd.) has accused the presidential candidate of the All
Progressives Congress (APC) Major- General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), of
possessing the heart of a tyrant.
Jang spoke in Barkin Ladi at the
People’s Democratic Party (PDP) rally organized to garner support for
their gubernatorial candidate, Senator Gyang Pwajok.
According to the 70-year old Jang,
“General Buhari was my senior in the Army, we served together, but, I
have since removed the heart of a military (man from me), that is why I
am able to transform Plateau. But Buhari is still a tyrant, he is bent
on sending past leaders to jail, so some of these past leaders are now
praying to God to keep him far away from power”.
General Buhari had during the course of
his campaign promised to send corrupt politicians to Kirikiri if elected
as the President of Nigeria.
Senator Pwajok appreciated the crowd for
the massive turn-out, assured them for his determination to further
transform Plateau state and encouraged the people to work together to
break ethnic barriers.
His words: “I want to thank you for this
massive turn-out. Truly, this election is about the people, we need to
come together as one so that we can break the barriers of religion,
ethnicity and geography.
“If not for God, it would not have been
possible for me as a young man to be counted among the 109 Senators of
the Federal Republic of Nigeria. In 2015, God is trying to prepare
another way that I should be counted among the nation’s 36 governors.
“I promise everyone here that I will not
betray the trust of the people of Plateau. We will continue to work
with the young and old, because it is only together that we can truly be
greater”.
“I’ve removed the heart of a military man from me,but Buhari still has heart of a tyrant” – Gov Jang
