40-year old Nollywood actress, Monalisa Chinda has kicked off a TV talk show 6 months after she quit her self-titled magazine, Monalisa.Entitled ‘You & I with Monalisa’ the talk-show according to a statement from the movie producer and actress, ‘is designed to address pressing and trending social issues in the most refreshing perspectives ever seen.’
Though the actress is said to be doing this all by herself, the statement from her organisation claimed that the TV talk show has gulped a whopping N90million in production cost.
In the words of Monalisa, ‘You & I remains a most cherished gift from God and one of my greatest contributions to this world. Highly captivating, entertaining and enriching, this suspense-filled talk show is easily the solution to most of our societal challenges.’
Monalisa, who produced the well received movie, Kiss & Tell featuring Joseph Benjamin, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Desmond Elliot and others, remains an active Nollywood player.
