Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is keen on signing Germany internationals Mario Gotze and Jonas Hector.

According to Mirror, Liverpool are very confident of landing both players this summer.

Gotze is frustrated with the lack of playing time at Bayern Munich and is ready to leave the club this summer. It is understood that he favours a move to Liverpool as he is keen to work with Klopp again.

The Liverpool manager was heartbroken when Gotze joined Bayern Munich from Borussia Dortmund a few years ago and clearly wants a reunion. The German attacking midfielder would be a sensational addition to any Premier League side.

Furthermore, the fee quoted is apparently in the region of 15-20 million pounds. Signing a potential world class player for that money could go down as one of the best signings in Liverpool’s history.

Gotze has just 12 months left on his current contract and has refused to sign a new deal at the Allianz Arena.

Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp is also looking to strengthen his fullback position and is eyeing up a move for the Cologne left back Jonas Hector.

The 25-year-old has had an outstanding season in the Bundesliga and could be available for around 12 million pounds. Klopp sent two representatives to watch Cologne defender Hector playing for his country against England at the weekend.

Hector is defensively a lot better than Flanagan and Moreno and could be a vital addition to the Liverpool side, especially against the top teams.

He can also play as a defensive midfielder.
