Obama, the dog of Rome, we'll slaughter your soldiers and kill your people - ISIS threatens America in new video

Terrorist group ISIS has released a new video warning Americans to expect a Paris-style terrorist attack soon. In the video, the ISIS terrorist with British accent issued a chilling threat to the US and President Barack Obama.
“Paris isn’t far from you - we will by Allah’s permission do to your country what we did to Paris. We will kill, slaughter and burn your people. “Inshallah [God willing], we will attack you very soon with anything we lay our hands on.”
“To Obama, the dog of Rome, today we are slaughtering the soldiers of Pasha, tomorrow, we will be slaughtering your soldiers. We will soon, like your puppet David Cameron said, begin to slaughter your people, on your streets.”
He then drops his hostage onto his front, pulls his hair back and cuts off his head as bloods spatters all around, before looking up at the camera menacingly. “No matter how many times you delete our accounts or chase our places and no matter how you fight us, we are still here and we will support the Islamic caliphate state.”

Court dismisses Metuh's suit trying to stop his trial

The Fundamental Rights Enforcement suit filed against the EFCC by the National spokesperson of PDP, Olisa Metuh, has been dismissed by Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court, Abuja.

The judge dismissed the suit at its hearing this morning March 9th. Metuh had filed the suit challenging his arrest and detention by EFCC over his alleged involvement in the $2.1 billion arms deal scandal.

Metuh asked the court to make a declaration that his arrest on January 5th was unlawful as there was no warrant of arrest issued by any court. Metuh also argued that his detention by EFCC for 10 days without being charged to court violated his rights. He asked the court to stop EFCC from further arresting him.

Dismissing Metuh's suit, the presiding judge, Justice Abang held that EFCC had the constitutional powers to arrest and detain him. Justice Abang stressed that his arrest was lawful as it was granted by a Chief Magistrate court. He thereafter dismissed the suit for lacking in merit and awarded a cost of N15, 000 against Metuh.

Honour killing: Two sisters murdered by their brother in Pakistan because he "doubted their characters"

Two sisters were shot dead a few days ago in an honour killing in the Punjab village of Noor Shah, Pakistan by their brother. Fauzia, 23, and Surayya, 21, were shot in their beds by Mohammad Asif, because he "doubted their characters and was against their lifestyle". He then fled the small farming village.

The girls' distraught father, 56-year-old Muhammad Ashraf, flew home, paralysed by grief and shock. He has lived in the United Arab Emirates for decades, where he drives a taxi.

Sahiwal's district police officer, Muhammad Baqar Raza said their accused killer had also murdered his mother in 2011. Her apparent "crime" was a sexual relationship with a local criminal. Asif was freed after his relatives forgave him.
"Had he been brought to justice, this should not have happened again," said Wali Khan, a Noor Shah village resident.
"This time he must be punished duly to save another tragic incident from happening."
Killing in the name of honour is common in the traditional parts of Pakistan.
Law Minister Pervez Rashid told the national assembly recently that 933 people died in honour killings over the past two years. The majority of the reported cases were in Sindh province.
But Pakistan's Human Rights Commission put the figure at around 1,000 a year, and in reality it is much higher, as many cases are never reported. Procedural legal flaws are also blamed for the lack of convictions.
"Many of the crimes carried out by relatives are never prosecuted," said human rights activist and legal expert in the city of Mardan, Akbar Hoti.
The Sahiwal district police officer investigating the killing of the two sisters, Muhammad Baqar Raza, shared that view.
"The police do their job well, but the criminals get released from the courts because of the procedural laws," he said.
