21-year-old Nigerian striker, Ebere Onuachu was the star of the day last night as Danish club, FC Midtjylland handed visitors, Manchester United a painful defeat at the MCH Arena in a UEFA Europa league last-32 first-leg tie.

Manchester took the lead in the 33rd minute via a Memphis Depay strike but didn’t know that the host would not go down without a fight .

Pione Sisto drew level for Midtjylland barely a minute to the end of the first half with Manchester United star goalkeeper, David De Gea already lost to injury.

The host came back tougher in the second half with substitute Ebere Onuachu netting the winner of the night in the 77th minute to condemn Manchester to defeat from a club only formed in 1999, the year United won their famous Treble.

Louis Van Gaal’s future remains uncertain as reports keep claiming former Chelsea coach, Jose Mourinho will be taking over from him next season.
