Lagos - Nigeria Football Federation technical
committee member Christian Chukwu has
distanced himself from the Super Eagles
squad announced earlier this week.
A list of 23 players was released by the NFF
for the two 2015 Africa Cup of Nations
qualifiers against Congo and South Africa.
Chukwu has confirmed that the technical
committee was not consulted and criticised
the Nigerian football body for making the
announcement without having appointed a
new coach.
"The technical committee was not part of the
selection of the 23 players released this week
for the Nations Cup qualifier against Congo
on September 6," the former Eagles coach
told The Guardian.
